In 1929, R.H. Lapp & Sons consisted of R.H. Lapp Sr., who plied his plumbing trade door-to-door in Cumberland, Maryland. His determination to offer the best in the field ensured the longevity of his fledgling company; today, that company performs an average $10 million in business each year.

Currently under the 3rd generation of ownership, the Corporate Officers are George W. Lapp, Jr., President; Bryan J. Marker, Vice President; and Mary Jane Maltba, CPA and Corporate Secretary/Treasurer, R.H. Lapp & Sons has grown to employ 70 professionals dedicated to maintaining the same quality standards established by R.H. Lapp himself back in 1929. We offer our clients state-of-the-art mechanical contracting services, including heating, air conditioning, plumbing, sprinkler and - most recently - architectural metal roofing and siding.

The high standards commensurate with the Lapp name is assured through the production of much of the material used by the company in our own sheet metal/fabrication shop, located at our company headquarters, 880 Kelly Road, Cumberland, MD 21502.

And all work performed by R.H. Lapp & Sons, Inc., is guaranteed for one full year, with a separate division of the company offering ongoing maintenance contracts on the systems we install.
